Zamy Steynovitz (1951 - 2000) is known for his bright Impressionist paintings. Clearly inspired by the color and works works of Chagall both artists shared the same beliefs in love and family. Steynovitz was born in Poland but raised in Israel. He began drawing at a very early age and his formal art training began at the Art School in Tel-Aviv. He also attended classes at London's Royal Academy.
As a professional artist he maintained studios in New York and Tel-Aviv. Steynovitz's work constantly reinforced his peaceful and humanistic beliefs in love and family.
Steynovitz is represented in numerous collections including Nobel prize winners: Anwar Sadat, Menahem Begin, the Dalai Lama, Itzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, Elie Wiesel, Desmund Tutu, Oscar Arias, the ex President of Cost Rica as well as many politicians and artists.
